REMINGTON PARK TRAINING RACES RESUME, FAST BOBBY TOPS EIGHT EVENTS

OKLAHOMA CITY - February 26, 2018 – Winter weather postponed training race activity a week ago at Remington Park. Spring-like weather greets four straight days of training events this week.

Fast Bobby lived up to his name with the best time of Monday’s session. Owned and bred by Bret Pevehouse of Warner, Okla. and trained by Clint Crawford, Fast Bobby rolled over his 250 yards in the fourth race of the day.

Jockey Juan Pulido was up vigorously hand-riding Fast Bobby to a 1-3/4 length victory. An Oklahoma-bred gelding by FDD Dynasty from the Lazbuddie mare Little Lazajane, Fast Bobby covered his 250 yards in :13.585 over a fast track into a 9mph headwind. 

Light southerly breezes between 6 and 11mph met the Monday competitors with temperatures reaching the mid-60s under sunny skies.

Remington Park will conduct training races Tuesday thru Thursday, Feb. 27-March 1, with eight races set for each session. Training races start each day at 11am.

The 2018 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park starts with a weekend of activity Friday, March 9 thru Sunday, March 11. The first race on Opening Night, March 9 is at 6pm. The first race on Saturday, March 10 starts at 4pm. Sunday action on March 11 is underway at 1:30pm.

The Remington Park season will continue thru June 2 with a total of 50 race dates scheduled.
