OKLAHOMA CITY -- March 29, 2018– Remington Park’s holiday week of racing started Thursday with trainer Fernando Carrete having the most success of the evening, saddling three winners.

The Carrete hat trick began with Eagle Out Of Sight ($12.40 to win) breaking his maiden in race seven, posting a rally in a short 250-yard event. Franchise Player B ($15.60) made it a double for Carrete, winning race nine. Carrete completed his triple in the 11^th and final race of the night with Famous Crazyface ($33) a 4-year-old mare he also owns. 

Carrete’s three wins Thursday, moved him to fourth place in the trainer standings with seven wins on the season. Clint Crawford leads the seasonal standings with 10 victories. The three-win night is the second training triple of the season for Carrete. He also saddled three winners on the Opening Night of the season, March 9.

Remington Park’s American Quarter Horse Season continues Friday and Saturday, March 30 & 31. The lone stakes race this week takes place Saturday with the running of the Grade 3, $50,000 Decketta Stakes for older fillies and mares going 350 yards. The first race nightly is at 6pm-Central.

There will be no live racing on Easter Sunday, April 1, at Remington Park.
