OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 15, 2017—Remington Park will run the second set of schooling races for the week on Thursday. The Oklahoma City racetrack will follow today's (Wednesday) schooling event with nine additional races on Thursday. Eight of those are for two-year-old American Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas.
Oklahoma City, OK - February 15, 2017 -- Its time again for the annual OQHRA LEGISLATIVE DINNER at Heritage Place. THIS EVENT INCLUDES A FREE DINNER and a cash bar. Please make plans now to attend this important event. This is a family friendly event and if you are involved in racing you need to make coming and helping us tell the legislature how important the horse racing industry is to your way of life. Bring your partners, or your neighbors if they are into racing too. We will start serving dinner at 5:30 and legislators will be coming and going during the evening as this is not the only event for them on Tuesday evening, so if you can't get there until 6:30 or so that will work too. We should be finished by 8:30 PM.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The top training race of the day took place in the first of 10 on Wednesday at Remington Park. Corona Carmelita flew over the 250 yard training race distance in near training race-record time.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 13, 2017—Schooling races continue on Wednesday at Remington Park with nine of the 10 races scheduled 2-year-old American Quarter Horse, Paints and Appaloosas. First post is set for 11:00 a.m. (CST) and all races will be contested over 250 yards. The public is invited to attend.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The opening afternoon of training races in preparation for the 2017 American Quarter Horse Season at Remington Park have been completed. After 17 events, all at 250 yards, Cartel Bug owned the fastest time of the session.
